How long will my repair take?
It depends on the size of the damage and resin cure times. A small cosmetic repair is much quicker than a structural one with core replacement. You’ll get a realistic timeframe with your quote, and updates as the job progresses.
Does my boat need to come out of the water?
Hull repairs and antifouling are done on the hardstand at Pacific Point Marina & Boatyard, where the boat can be lifted, worked on and relaunched in one place. Some deck, detailing and fit-out work can be done without hauling out. Ask and we’ll work out the easiest option.
Can you match my gelcoat colour?
Yes. Gelcoat is tinted to match your boat. On older boats where the original colour has faded, the repair is blended and the surrounding area cut and polished so the finish is even.
How often should I antifoul?
Most boats need it every 12 to 24 months, depending on how much the boat is used, where it’s kept and the coating system. We’ll recommend the right PPG system for how you use your boat.
Can I get a rough idea of price from photos?
Absolutely. Text a few clear photos of the damage (one close up, one from further back) to 0432 779 700. Morgan can usually give you a ballpark, then confirm it once the boat has been inspected.
